Practical Truck driving Class 1

Until December 2025, you can get your license without mandatory training—you only need to pass the knowledge (theory) and road (practical) tests.

However, starting December 2025, getting a Class 1 license will only be possible through recognized driving schools. The new process will include:

125 hours of formal training
18-month training period
Costs up to $15,000
